Components of a Hearing Test :

Tympanometry - This test determines whether fluid and/or pressure exists behind the eardrum.

Pure Tone Testing - This test checks for hearing loss at various pitches by presenting tones to the patient.

Speech Testing - This test evaluates a patient's ability to understand speech by presenting lists of words, rather than tones.

Otoacoustic Emissions - Electrical signals are produced by normally hearing ears; these emissions can be detected in anyone.

Audiologists - Hearing professionals who test hearing and fit hearing aids. Our licensed audiologists are trained to perform hearing tests on children of all ages, as well as adults.
